Vilija Bukelskete - Vilija acquired her Batchelor's degree of Arts in Piano Performance, Accompanying, Pedagogy and Chamber Music from Music Academy of Lithuania. She continued with one year of research toward Master's degree in Music Pedagogy.As a music educator, Vilija has taught children and adults in Lithuania and New York, NY. Her experience includes musical activities for disabled children and adults. Vilija has also been involved in music therapy activities at Senior Citizen Centers.
Maria Friel - Maria is a graduate of Xavier University with Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. She has a Master of Music degree from Miami University, Oxford. Maria has been teaching since 2004 and is doing both group and private lessons at Sharp. In addition to teaching, Maria mentors student assistants during group lessons.
Christina Hutzelman - Christina has fifteen years of experience teaching hundreds of students. She began her career as a student of Sharp School of Music (previously Barrett House) when she was five years old. As a teenager, she worked as a teaching assistant in group lessons. She received a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and continues to teach private lessons four days per week.
Shannon Schneider - Shannon received a Bachelor of Orchestral Performance from Ohio University. She specializes in Oboe and Piano. Shannon taught private lessons while pursuing her college education. She continues to teach private lessons and enjoys helping students appreciate many aspects of music.
Shawn Wyatt - Shawn has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a minor in harpsichord. She earned her Master's Degree in Piano Pedagogy from University of South Florida. Shawn has been teaching since 1987. She teaches both group and private lessons and is also an experienced accompanist.
VOCAL INSTRUCTOR
Scott Wyatt - Scott is currently pursuing a DMA in Vocal Performance at the College Conservatory of Music University of Cincinnati. He received a Master's degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Arizona State University. His experience includes opera and symphony engagements, professional choral conducting, music theater direction and private voice instruction. He has received many vocal and teaching awards since 1995.
STRINGS INSTRUCTOR
Mac Moore - Mac received his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Morehead State University and is currently finishing his Master's degree at Miami University, Oxford. Mac was a member of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra as violinist. He was an instrumental music teacher and directed school orchestras. In addition to violin, Mac also teaches viola, cello and guitar.
